Sheikha Al Jalila bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of Dubai born December 2, 2007 is the daughter of Princess Haya bint Al Hussein of Jordan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister of UAE and ruler of Dubai. She is the youngest of Sheikh Mohammed's 18 children, as well as a niece of King Abdullah II of Jordan. Her birth coincided with the UAE's 36th celebration of National Day.

Jalila also shares her name with her cousin Princess Jalilah, daughter of Princess Haya's brother Ali. Although the Sheikha's name is spelled without the added H, they are pronounced the same. The Al at the beginning of her name is not traditionally said as a first name in Middle Eastern names, as this word translated means the.
